The History of Laser eye Surgery.

In 1948 José Ignacio Barraquer Moner Tried to find a cure for one of the most common things ever, glasses. Glasses were not that common in  1948 but this surgery knows as keratomileusis is proven to be a very helpful surgery in the twentieth century. In our modern world screens are everywhere from our cars to our homes blurry and unclear vision is very common. Some people take the method of wearing contact lenses but let's face it that is not everybody's forté. Therefore many people want to eliminate the main problem of there disability the unshaped or mishaped cornea by the process of keratomileusis which actually comes from the Greek words which translate to 'the carving of the cornea'.
In the original process which sounds much gorier than modern laser eye surgery involves slicing the patient's cornea and soaking it in liquid nitrogen ( LN₂ ). After the cornea was frozen Barraquer used a miniature leave and ground the cornea into the precise shape required the focus light through it to restore vision. he then thawed it and stitched it back in the patient's eye. This method may seem very gory has actually no been perfected by laser which is so precise they can carve alphabets on human hair. Well in the end you actually don't know what happened you see it.
